About Alexis
I believe that within each of us exists a place of steadiness, wisdom, and peace—one that remains available even in life's most challenging moments. The work of mindfulness is not about becoming someone different. It is about learning how to return to ourselves with greater awareness, compassion, and trust.
My own journey has taught me that healing and growth rarely come from force or perfection. They emerge through curiosity, practice, and a willingness to meet ourselves exactly where we are. Through mindfulness, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation, I discovered practical tools that helped me navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and intention. Today, I have the privilege of sharing those tools with others.
As a Certified Mindfulness Facilitator (200-hour training), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) student, consultant, and educator, I create welcoming, trauma-aware spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and develop sustainable practices for well-being. My approach blends contemplative wisdom with evidence-informed understanding of the mind, body, and nervous system, making mindfulness accessible, practical, and relevant to everyday life. A space of curiosity, delight and opening as we journey together.
Whether through courses, meditation practice, or one-on-one mentoring, my intention is simple: to help people cultivate the awareness, skills, and self-trust needed to become their own peaceful sanctuary.
I look forward to practicing alongside you.
